Thermo line are made from original materials, compensation lines from spare materials.

The arteries of the thermocouples are led out of the same material as the corresponding thermocouple measurements and can be used directly. Here is the allowable temperature range to be considered. The pipes will be depending on the application area with wires or solid conductor with the corresponding insulation manufactured. For thermocouple wires, the accuracy class 1 possible, but only on request.

The arteries of the compensation line are made of alloys, which are incompatible with the corresponding thermocouple identical. You still have the same maximum temperature, the thermo-electric properties as the corresponding thermocouple pair. Substitute materials are used for Type K and N and precious metals for Type S, Type R and Type B, because the substitute materials are much cheaper.

The color code corresponds to the DIN 43722 standard, may wish to purchase larger quantities, but in each version.

The following table provides a brief overview about the isolation of materials associated with the maximum operating temperature. The values are to be regarded as recommendations and may vary depending on use conditions vary slightly.

Thermocouple voltages, tolerances and temperature ranges

Wires for compensation and thermocouple cables are specified in DIN 43712 and DIN 43713 standards. The thermal stresses in the allowable temperature range correspond to the thermal stresses for the thermal couples according to DIN EN 60584-1. Marginal variances for compensation and thermocouple cables are laid down in DIN 43722. The border deviations correspond to the accuracy class 2.
